OutKrop is rated as #1 most rockin' social media platform of the holocene epoch to converge with friends and meet new people. OutKrop also offers a wide range of customizability to users, allowing them complete control to personalize their user profiles. OutKrop was created in 2010 by K2, originally as a place for users to find community help identifying rocks and minerals. Eventually, it grew into the site it is today after younger users caught on the site's full user personalization features.
OOC: "OutKrop" is actually an in-universe social media platform in "The Rock Records" that these character use, though it would look slightly different from this website (I coded it to look similar, but not function like the "real" OutKrop!). For one, while it is a very popular social media platform in their world, it also has many inconveinences, including: your account getting deleted without warning if you gain too many followers, having a "dislike post" option (with the icon being a tomato), and a function that notifies all your friends in real time if your ass is getting beat online.
OutKrop terminalogy:
Strata = OutKrop's version of a feed/timeline/dashboard/whatever
you call it.
Unit = a post, though most users just call it a "post".

Hello! I'm Rocky Atomica, but please just call me ROCK. This is my website for my original characters, which are all from my headworld, "The Rock Records". Here, you will find all the publicly available information possible about them, all on their own customized webpages, some either matching their theme or meant to look like they themselves designed the page.
A website for my Rock Records characters has long been in the works, originally starting as simple toyhouse pages, then moving to Weebly, then Carrd, (anything but coding!!) before I settled on relearning html for Neocities out of frustration with modern social media. I used to code pages for my Neopets back in 2006, and while rudimentary (due to both being a kid and who's second language was English), was the most fun I've had on the internet. This site project has rekindled my interest in coding sites and I remembered how fun it was getting to see everything come together. I also am way better at reading English now, so I can understand how to code a lot better too!!
This site is an on-going project as I create and update pages for my characters. I mainly focus on their pages the most, but from time to time you may see changes to the homepage too ;-] Also, maybe in the future this page won't be so cluttered...lol.
